A critical care nurse needs more than just book knowledge. As far as difficult and important jobs go, nursing is probably one of the most prominent. A nurse can be proficient and successful in dealing with every problem meticulously, but only if she has a healthy dose of confidence in her skills and herself.

Nurses, especially critical care nurses deal with life and death all the time. A positive attitude will recommend the nurse as a first-rate person and professional not only to her patients and their families and friends, but also to her work colleagues.
